About This Report
This is our annual data report — a first-party analysis of our own AI HR review catalog (46 tools as of this update), intended to be re-run and expanded every year so the comparisons become genuinely longitudinal over time. Like every other data piece on this site, it describes only the tools we currently review, not the entire AI HR software market, and every figure below is computed directly from our own structured catalog data, not a third-party survey. This edition has now been recomputed twice following two real catalog expansions — the figures below reflect the current, larger catalog, not the original 25-tool baseline or the interim 33-tool version.

Across our 15 tracked categories, AI Recruiting has extended its lead as the deepest bench in our catalog, now at 13 tools, followed by People Analytics at 10. At the other end, 4 categories — AI Resume Screening, AI Interview Software, Compliance, and Internal Knowledge — remain at exactly 2 tools each. That's not necessarily a market-wide gap (it may just mean fewer distinct products exist in that space, or that we simply haven't added more yet) — but for a buyer, fewer reviewed options in a category means less room to comparison-shop within our catalog specifically, and it's worth checking a wider net before committing in those thinner categories.
